W.O.O.F. Westies of Ohio Fundraisers
The WOOF Club is a social and charitable organization involving Westie lovers working together to benefit various Westie programs and other canine charitable organizations. Our goal is to raise money in support of westie rescue, to educate the public about Westies, provide medical information regarding westies allergies and other health issues. Westies are not for all families. Other goals are to raise public awareness regarding Puppy Mills, provide information about upcoming legislation, and other canine causes. As a team, WOOF members make a difference. By lending support and making contributions in time and money, we are able to care for our Westies, and other dog breeds, all of which are "our beloved companion animals". We believe that all companion animals make better people and help strengthen families - then we all make a difference in our communities and in our country. Since our founding in 2002, we have donated money to WestieMed, Central Ohio Westie Rescue, the Westie Foundation of America, canine victims of the 2005 Asian Tsunami Disaster and Hurricane Katrina, and PA Terrier Rescue "Mandy's Surgery Fund". Please join us at our meetings, everyone is welcome. Be prepared to share a picture of your westie(s) and a westie story
