November 2004 Update

    Katie became a Mom in September, 2004.  She was and is a great Mom, and her puppies are so cute.  (Have you ever seen a westie puppy that wasn't cute?)  Here is a  picture of her puppies.     

    Katie was born on    June 18^th, 2002 and became my third Westie in November 2002. 

    Katie is a Westie through and through. She is a "talker" and can become a "screamer" if she is not getting your attention.  She looks so innocent at times, but in an instant that can change and her true colors come into view.   I had forgotten how much energy puppies have. Sometimes she just goes looking for trouble. Her favorite forbidden areas are trash cans (paper) and the cat food dish.   

                
    Hannah and Maggie have accepted Katie. She loves to play with Maggie, but poor Maggie. The way Katie asks Maggie to play is to grab on to her snout fur and pull. She and Hannah like to chase each other and play hide and seek. They take turns chasing and running. This is a very noisy activity. When Katie has played her little heart out, she wants to climb into my arms or lay on my face to take a short nap. She can be so sweet at those times….
