Hannah
A Westie Rescue story.

Hannah, AKA Hannah Bell, came into my life on June 5, 2002.

When I brought Hannah home, she immediately liked the other dogs and wanted to play.  She has been great with everybody she meets and is wonderful with my grandchildren.  The cats were a bit of a problem at first because she had never been around them.  Everything has settled down and she is a wonderful and sweet girl.

I noticed Hannah was having a bit of a problem with "leaking".  I would find she had wet in my bed or on the carpet where she had been laying, and a couple of times on the furniture.  I expect this was the real reason she was going to be put down.  I took her to the vet, and she is on a medication and has improved 95 %.  The vet says I should see a 100 % recovery.  If people would only take a little time and think about possible medical problems, there would be a lot more happy pets and pet owners.

One of the things that just cracks me up about Hannah is how she "prances".  She holds her head up high and almost dances across the yard!  She's a proud Westie.  I'm so fortunate I have Hannah in my life and I'm pretty sure she is happy to finally be home..
